Differences Between Men’s Hair and Women’s Hair

It is thought that women and men have different hair structures. We are thinking like that because, women have soft, shiny, and more beautiful hair compared to men. Although there are some small differences, believe it or not, men and women have the same hair structure.

Like we mentioned above, there are some differences between men’s and women’s hair and the major difference is the haircut. When deciding what haircut is the best for you, you should be aware of what kind of hair you have. Men and women prefer a different style of hair—men usually prefer short hair, women prefer long hair— thus, men and women use different types of products for the care of hair. These products men and women use their hair cause differences in the brightness and softness of the hair.

Another difference between men’s and women’s hair is the growth rate of hair. Although men’s hair and women’s hair have a different length, men’s hair grows faster than women’s hair. Also, male hair tends to have short and clean. On the other hand, women have long and wavy hairs.

Due to the male hormone testosterone which secretes more oil, men’s hairs are subjected to more oil glands which make them sweat more. In contrast, women’s hair secretes less oil.

Another difference between men’s and women’s skin is, men’s skin has less nerve fiber that leads to less sensitivity to pain. On the other hand, women have more nerve fiber. That’s why women tend to prefer waxing and razor.

All in all, as you can see that men’s hair and women’s hair are mostly the same. There is a key difference between the hair of men and women are haircuts and hairstyles and the hair care products they use depending on their hairstyles.
